Katie Kaufman
Katie Trimble Kaufman is an award winning artist who specializes in graphite, colored pencil and pastel images of wild and domestic animals, birds, flowers or whatever subject attracts her interest. She was born and raised in Hamilton, Texas; attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas and graduated with a degree in Art Education from Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan. After studying graphic design at the University of California, Davis, Katie enjoyed a rewarding career as a graphic designer before retiring to a ranch in Cheapside, Texas to pursue art and other creative interests while her husband raised Longhorn cattle. Now, with her husband also retired, they are residents of Theodore, Alabama, where Katie enjoys time with family and friends in the beautiful setting of the Fowl River. The multitude of amazing birds, phenomenal flowers and fascinating wildlife provide her with some of her favorite art subjects.
